Herkko Plit

P2X Solutions
Herkko Plit, founder and CEO of P2X Solutions, has over three decades of experience in the energy sector. P2X is the first company in Finland to build green hydrogen production facilities.
Previously, Plit has held roles including CEO of the state-owned company Baltic Connector Oy, Industrial Counsellor at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment, and positions at the European Commission and Fortum.
At Teknologia, Plit explores the role of hydrogen in the energy solutions of the future.

Jari Saarinen

Dr. Jari Saarinen is an experienced technology leader with over 25 years of expertise at the forefront of robotics and automation development. Before becoming an entrepreneur, Saarinen worked as a researcher at Aalto University and Örebro University, where his primary research focus was on developing 3D LiDAR-based navigation methods.
He was also a co-founder of Sensible 4, a company dedicated to developing weatherproof Level 4 autonomous driving technology.
At the Teknologia 25 event, Saarinen will delve into the topic: “Making Work Machines Autonomous – Where Are We Now and What Does the Future Hold?”

Juha Röning

Juha Röning is a Professor of Embedded Systems at the University of Oulu. He serves as Vice Chair of the European euRobotics organization and is also a member of the executive board of the AI, Data and Robotics Association (Adra, asbl).
At Teknologia, Röning will give an English-language talk on the topic “Role of Robotics and AI in Transforming European Economies.”

Ross Bailey has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. His areas of expertise include OT cybersecurity, cyber operations, artificial intelligence, threat intelligence, and cyber warfare.
“Deepfake It Till You Make It,” a humorous continuation of a talk I gave at Disobey in 2025. It explores the evolution of AI and its implications, featuring several demos. We dive into the world of Sci Fi and 80s action movies, singularity, conciousness and the “fun” to be had with open source AI tools.
