Finn-Power crimping machines

Crimping, joining, forming, marking

Lillbacka Powerco has been manufacturing high-quality Crimping machines and Hose Cutters under the Finn-Power brand for over 50 years. The product portfolio ranges from portable service presses to robust serial production machines with tool sizes up to 650 mm and a clamping force of 2000 tons. The smallest parts to be crimped can be e.g. hospital instruments with a diameter of just two millimeters.

We also manufacture advanced marking machines for DOT peen and Laser marking. The only machines on the market with automatic part height detection and thus minimal setup time.

The applications for Finn-Power Crimpers are very wide, from crimping hydraulic hoses to various wire and tube applications, from the automotive industry to aerospace technology. The machines can connect and form all cold-formable parts and materials, where the other component is metal. Pressing can be used to make a final connection, or as a pre-fixation for welding, for example. The most common profiles are round, square, rectangular and oval, and other special shapes can be formed if necessary. Finn-Power crimpers are also widely used for calibrating the shape and diameter of parts.

In addition to standard crimping tools, special tools are available for presses according to the customer’s needs and product shape. Our versatile machine base also includes 3D metal printing, which enables the production of more complex tools than before.

Lillbacka Powerco also manufactures Tube Expanders, specializing in pipe sizes over 60mm. The minimum expandable inner dimension is 45mm and the maximum is approx. 600mm. Expandable couplings can also be enlarged with Finn-Power EF-machines, such as industrial fuel hose couplings.

Finn-Power machines’ advanced ICC control enables Industry 4.0 connectivity and versatile data transfer features. With the ICC4 quality control option, defective parts can be identified already during the production process, and they do not end up in customer deliveries.
